We are God's Glory
And evil can see this light ...
The Lord Jesus said:
“You are the light of the world..." Matthew 5:14
The devil knew and contemplated God's Glory in the heavens, the same that today is reflected in the man who was enlightened with the Holy Spirit. That's why he is so envious and tries to extinguish those who have become the God's Glory on earth.
Evil can see this light, the Glory of God in us, he was once illuminated when he lived in heavens. But if this light is off, it is useless.
So, how does he try to quench this light? Making the person exchange God's Glory for the glory of the world.
“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
Matthew 4:8-10
The Lord Jesus did not change the God's Glory that was in Him for that offered by the tempter. However, many have changed and stopped serving God to serve themselves, the world and the devil.
Those who decide to give and also to be God's Glory here on earth, will one day be gathered there in heavens, where the devil cannot go.
"AFTER these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!" Revelation 19:1
