Universal Beyond Bars in Koronadal

Every last Tuesday of the month, the UBB volunteers in Koronadal conduct an outreach program at the Koronadal City District Jail, located in Barangay Santa Cruz, Koronadal City. The purpose of this outreach program is not only to demonstrate God's love by providing food to help meet the inmates' physical needs but, most importantly, to share the Word of God and the message of salvation.

During the outreach program held on July 28, 48 inmates attended and they understood the importance of receiving the Holy Spirit into their lives. It was emphasized that it is not enough to merely remember God in certain moments of life, rather, God desires to dwell within us through His Holy Spirit. By God's grace, this message was clearly shared, and the inmates were able to understand its significance.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."

It is always a great privilege to take part in this work because it is part of the mission that the Lord Jesus entrusted to His servants—to reach out to those who are in need of love, hope, and salvation. We thank God for the opportunity to serve Him through helping these inmates and we pray that the seed of His Word planted in their hearts will bear lasting fruit.
