UBB Urdaneta in Action: Distribution of Bibles

Last Tuesday, UBB volunteers in Urdaneta once again visited the Urdaneta District Jail (BJMP-UDJ) to fulfill their mission of sharing the Word of God with those who need it most.

During the visit, the inmates learned about the importance of returning to God. To do this, they need to be courageous, honest with themselves, and humble. They were also reminded that it is never too late to turn to God. They need to trust and have faith in Him, do their part, and believe that God is ready to help and guide them.

Many of the inmates expressed their gratitude for the continued sharing of the Word of God, which gives them strength, hope, and renewed faith.

Recognizing the importance of having the Word of God, the UBB volunteers also distributed Bibles to those who wanted but did not yet have one. On that day, 12 inmates were blessed to receive a Bible that they could use to seek guidance, find hope and encouragement, know God and His Word more deeply, and learn how to apply His teachings in their daily lives.

The UBB volunteers in Urdaneta remain committed to helping the inmates by bringing them the teachings of the Word of God and reminding them that there is always hope, an opportunity for change, and a chance to return to God.
