A message of hope behind bars

On Tuesday, October 13, the UBB volunteers in Vigan visited the Provincial Jail of Ilocos Sur to share an important message of hope: no matter what a person has done in the past, God is willing to receive anyone who comes to Him with a sincere heart. He calls us to recognize our need for Him.
Jesus came to save the lost. Those who believe they do not need God may fail to recognize their need for a Savior. But those who humble themselves and confess, “I am a sinner, and I need You, God,” open their hearts to His forgiveness, mercy, and salvation.
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” — John 6:37
Along with sharing God’s Word, they distributed food to the inmates. The food was generously donated by volunteers who support UBB outreach activity, extending God’s love and compassion through both words and actions.
