Pampering day for the seniors

The Universal Beyond Bars (UBB) volunteers in Baclaran sponsored a Pampering Day for senior citizens at the Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory on October 5, in participation of Elderly Filipino Week.

10 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) who are senior citizens benefited from this activity, they received haircuts, massages, and, above all, appreciation and encouragement.

The UBB volunteers conduct weekly visits to the PCJ Female Dormitory, not only to support the PDLs’ physical well-being but, more importantly, to fulfill their mission of sharing the Good News and the hope that lives can be transformed through intelligent faith.
