UBB in Quezon City

God’s Word does not promise a life without struggles. There will be times when we pass through difficulties and challenging moments. What we cannot allow is for our circumstances to weaken our faith or give room to doubt.

Those who truly believe in the Word of God and surrender their lives to Him can experience true peace, joy, and salvation.

On Monday, October 5, the volunteers of UBB had a special encounter with the 70 women at the Female Dormitory of Quezon City Jail. The outreach activity began with sharing the Word of God and the message of salvation. They then had the opportunity to give them hygiene kits as a tangible expression of love and care.

The volunteers also provided free advice and prayed with those who were in need, offering encouragement, hope, and spiritual support.

More than simply giving material assistance, this outreach activity was an opportunity to share God’s Word with those who need hope.

“It was my first time participating in this outreach activity. As I did the one-on-one talk, I realized that they really have questions for which they seek answers and guidance on what to do. I am grateful that God used me through this activity to share His Word, provide spiritual advice, and help them understand the importance of prayer and trusting in God,” shared Joan Tuvieron, one of the volunteers.
