UBB in Action in Vigan

Last Tuesday, July 14, the UBB group in Vigan visited the PDLs in the Provincial Jail of Ilocos Sur.

They received the opportunity to surrender their lives to God, as they watched the example of Mr. Danilo Santos’ testimony, that he had nothing else but his life to give to God. Because he was homeless and trapped in addiction, but after he repented and turned back to God, his life was transformed.

This was the emphasis of this visit, helping the inmates understand that it doesn’t matter how big the problem is or how destroyed their lives may seem, if there is repentance and sincerity, God is faithful and just to give a new beginning!

Why is the work of UBB important?

See how UBB helped Mr. Benjamin, who received the Word of Faith while he was in the Provincial Jail of Ilocos Sur.

“Since I started attending the services of the Universal Church while I was in prison, I began to receive the spiritual and physical support I needed. God gave me strength, guidance, and direction. I learned that, regardless of my past, I could start again with Him and have a new beginning.

Through the services and prayers, my faith grew stronger, and I found the motivation to move forward.

After I was released, I continued attending the Universal Church in Vigan. There, I have seen how God continues to help me face life’s challenges and overcome difficulties. He has given me the strength and faith to keep moving forward.

Today, I know that God is with me, and I am grateful for everything He has done in my life. I am also thankful for the work of the UBB and the Universal Church. Through this work, I found faith, hope, and direction, as well as the opportunity to begin again. It has shown me that, regardless of my past, with God, a new beginning is always possible.” — Benjamin Pimienta

Today, he continues this journey of faith together with his wife.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

I John 1:9
