HOLY SPIRIT AND LIFE TRANSFORMATION

Ever since I was a child, I carried anger toward my parents. I tried to hide it by showing others that I was happy, strong, and was facing them like I am a complete person. But whenever I was alone in my room, that’s when the pain and heaviness inside me would surface. There were times when dark thoughts would come—moments when I just wanted to lash out, and kill myself. But I was afraid, knowing that if I did such things, my soul would be condemned.
Then, when I came to the Simbahang Universal, I began to learn the Word of God. That’s when I understood the true value of life, and most importantly, the meaning of salvation. From that moment, I gave my best to follow Him.
When I got married and started a family, I sought the Holy Spirit even more because many challenges came that almost tore my family apart. There were moments when I felt lost, without guidance, but I prayed for God to rebuild my family—and I promised to serve Him with all my heart.
When the Campaign of Israel came, I gave everything. We sold some of our possessions—not to live in luxury, but as an act of sacrifice. We gave up not just our material things, but everything that held us back. We sacrificed to receive the Holy Spirit.
I searched for the Holy Spirit everywhere—at work, on the street, before going to bed, and even waking up early just to seek Him. And then, one day, I received Him.
After receiving the Holy Spirit, my life completely changed. I became a new person—someone who truly knows joy, free from anger and bitterness. Now, I live to share that same joy and peace with others. I tell people how God transformed my life, because I know there are others who might be going through the same struggles I once did. I want them to know that change is possible through faith.
Since receiving the Holy Spirit, I no longer doubt. I serve God wholeheartedly—as a servant, as an assistant—not for my own sake, but for His glory.
And I will continue to do so for the rest of my life, until the day God calls me home.
