"Financially, things were always tight."

Before I joined the Universal Church, even though I had a stable job, I noticed that my salary was never enough. Financially, things were always tight. Although I had a regular income, it seemed to disappear quickly. Until my wife invited me to the Universal Church and she fought for me through chains of prayer.

In the Universal Church, I learned about the Word of God in Malachi 3:10-11, which says, “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse… And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes....’”

I began to ask myself, “What is the devourer in my life?” Until I realized that my addictions and the friends who negatively influenced me were the devourers in my life. Even though I earned enough from my job, my money was being consumed by alcohol, cigarettes, and unnecessary expenses caused by bad influences.

I also figured out that the sickness in my family, especially my son’s condition, was another devourer. Our finances were constantly being drained by medicines, checkups, and other medical expenses.

But when I started putting God first in my life, I began to see changes. The devourer lost its power over my finances and my family. My salary remained the same, but the unnecessary expenses disappeared. The money that was once wasted on addictions and unplanned expenses could now be used wisely.

We were able to buy a property, build a house, save money in the bank, and invest in our future. Little by little, God fulfilled our goals.

When you put God first, He gives you wisdom, understanding, and direction in life. More than the financial blessings, the greatest thing I received was the Holy Spirit. That blessing is incomparable.

Today, I am here to help other people experience God in the same way I did. I want them to encounter Jesus in their lives just as I encountered Him in mine.
