For they call themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is His name: “I have declared the former things from the beginning; They went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. (Isaiah 48:2 - 3)
God told His people that He created all things with His Word and that He chose the Holy City to reveal salvation there through His Son. However, many do not accept Him as their Savior. They just want to use His Name and the City for their own benefit and ignore His plan to restore the souls of those who are lost.
