Life in Color Event in Laoag

During the second Sunday of the Life in Color event at the Universal Church in Laoag, people understood that everything God created has a purpose.

God did not create the world to be empty, and He did not create us simply to exist without knowing why we are here. Our lives have value and purpose because they come from God.

However, many people try to fill the emptiness within them with things that cannot truly satisfy. Some turn to entertainment, relationships, money, achievements, or temporary pleasures in an attempt to feel complete. These things may bring temporary happiness, but they cannot replace what only God can provide.

We are called to be filled with the Spirit of God, rather than allowing temporary things to control our lives. When our hearts are filled with God’s presence, our lives can be guided by something greater than our emotions, circumstances, or desires.

Being filled with the Spirit changes the way we see life. Problems may still come, but we no longer have to face them without hope. We may experience difficult seasons, but we can have the assurance that our lives have meaning and that God has not abandoned us.

The event was also a special opportunity for the children to be welcomed and called to receive the blessing of God. Every child was reminded that they are precious, loved, and created by God with a purpose. It was a meaningful moment for the children to experience joy, learn about God, and understand that His blessings are not only for adults but also for them.

Therefore, true fulfillment is found not in allowing this corrupted world to become our kingdom, but in choosing God and allowing Him to reign over our lives.” — Edward Pilar, one of the members, who also shared his experience.
