Life in Color Event in Davao
Last Sunday, September 20, during the Life in Color event in Davao, many people had the opportunity to surrender their emotional burdens and difficult circumstances to God, particularly those whose outward smiles concealed inner anguish and heartache—people whose life had lost its color and who had lost interest in living.
The message highlighted the contrast between those who are in the Kingdom of Heaven and those who are in the kingdom of the world. Those in God's Kingdom possess the assurance that God provides for them.
Conversely, those consumed by anxiety and worldly concerns can become fixated on pursuing material possessions, which can lead to disappointment and despair when things do not turn out as expected.
This truth was clearly expressed in the Bible passage shared, "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear? 'For after all these things the Gentiles seek." (Matthew 6:31-32)
A newcomer shared, "I hadn't planned to accept my sister's invitation, but something inside pushed me to go. At the last moment, I told her I would come, and I'm grateful I did. I understood that material possessions aren't what truly matter—what counts is prioritizing my spiritual life and seeking God first."
Indeed, the service became a turning point for many as they came to understand that life with God and being part of His Kingdom is more valuable than any material achievement.
“What I've learned is that we shouldn't stress over basic needs like food, drink, or clothing. Those who trust in God understand that these concerns are secondary. Instead, we should focus first on pursuing God's Kingdom and following His will, and everything else will naturally fall into place.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
