The Beat Depression Group held another edition of the Stop Depression Project last Saturday, July 4, this time at the Araneta Bus Terminal, offering comfort, a listening ear, and spiritual guidance to the people passing through that day.
Amid the rush, daily responsibilities, and the constant pace of city life, many people carry pain that remains unseen.
That's why we continue reaching out in public spaces, holding firmly to a message that should never be forgotten: mental health matters, and asking for help is an act of courage.
“I was encouraged to see how God can use us to reach people with His love and His Word. It was a fulfilling experience to be part of this work, and I pray that many more lives will be touched and transformed.” — Nora Siman, one of the volunteers, shared.
Every conversation, hug, and word of encouragement reminds us of why this mission is so important.
We will continue this work of reaching out to people, because as long as someone is suffering in silence, our mission is not over.
