Unisocial in Action to pass faith and hope to those in need.

The Unisocial is a project from the Simbahang Universal which stretches out a helping hand to those in need. It is formed by the volunteers of the groups of the church, who gather together as one to give to others the joy, care and faith they have received from God. Last Saturday, December 27, the Unisocial came together across the Philippines to make a difference in people’s lives. There were a total of 389 volunteers who helped and 1,938 people received the help.

Through the Word of God, people received hope and strength to overcome their problems and have not only a new year, but especially a new life with God.

They also received prayers, one to one spiritual advice, relief food packs, and various care services such as hair cuts, massages, blood pressure checks, etc…

It was a special moment not only for all those who benefited from this social event, but also for all the volunteers who were happy and renewed by helping others.

“The Unisocial understands that when we give food parcels, gifts to the people, it’s the food that feeds the body, but the difference is that together with it comes the food that feeds the soul - the Word of God. Besides everything that was offered to the people, we offered prayer, a word of faith, pastoral counselling, showing to people that there is a way to have a better life through faith.” - Bishop John Paul

"I realized that being a follower of Christ is not just going to church every Sunday, but through this activity I felt light because I managed to help other people", a volunteer said.

Being a Christian is much more than just going to church, it’s to give to others what they have received from God. What a joy it was to freely give and witness the beautiful smiles on people’s faces.
