The Sunday of Lord Take Away My Pain

How many people are living in pain? Some suffer physical pain because they are sick. But there are also those who carry emotional pain—because their marriage ended, they were betrayed, they lost a loved one, or they are facing problems at work or in the family.

Many try to hide their pain because they don’t know what to do. They go to parties, drink, shop, or watch movies to soothe the hurt. But when the night comes and they are alone in bed, the pain returns.

There are pains that the eyes cannot see, yet they weigh heavily on the soul. Time has not healed these inner wounds, and humanly speaking, they seem to have no solution. But in the light of God’s Word, there is a clear and living promise:

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…” (Isaiah 53:4).

No pain is too great or too strong for God to remove. Your silent suffering can be transformed when you place it before the Lord.

This Sunday, February 8 at 10am, we will have the Sunday of “Lord, Take Away My Pain”. Write down on a piece of paper all the pain you carry inside, and bring it on Sunday to surrender everything to God and let Him take it away.

There will also be the Lord’s Supper, a special moment to be renewed and revived by God, receiving the strength to overcome.

Join us here at Simbahang Universal, General Roxas Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao, or at a Simbahang Universal near you.
