Sunday of the Sacred Assembly in Divisoria

On the second Sunday of July, during the great call to the Sacred Assembly, people came to the Altar to cry out to God with complete surrender, repentance, and a wholehearted commitment to Him, believing that restoration, deliverance and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit would take place in their lives.

“Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly.” Joel 2:15

The people also learned about the faith that saves—the faith that endures all things out of love for Jesus and for the greatest eternal treasure: the salvation of the soul. This is pure faith: the faith that faces every challenge, never gives up, and never looks back, no matter what happens, because it is firmly founded on the Lord Jesus and fixed on eternity.

“And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 10:22

“I learned the importance of having a steadfast faith. Nowadays, many people give up and turn away from God as soon as problems arise in their lives. If they were to leave this world in that condition, they would not be saved. That is why I always keep the salvation of my soul in mind. I pray constantly and seek God's presence every day, especially in the early morning before I go to work. I read His Word and pray, and I depend on Him in everything I do. Regardless of the problems that I may face, I will never give up. Instead, I will draw even closer to Him because I have made a promise to God that I will serve Him every day until the end.” — Marlon Enguito shared.
