Servant's Meeting in Hamamatsu, Japan

ree

On Sunday, December 21, at 3pm, Bishop Jean held the Servant’s Meeting at our Universal Church in Hamamatsu, Japan. During this meeting, the groups gathered together and learned the two steps to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Men and brethren, what shall we do?’ Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” Acts 2:37-38

Water baptism is invalid without true repentance, which is not merely remorse. Because of this, many have not received the Holy Spirit.

Anyone who is seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit cannot skip these two important steps: repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

They also learned that the greatest commission a servant can have is to be saved and to save others.

No matter the nationality, color, or race—whatever the language or place—it is a commandment of the Lord not only for those who hold positions, but for every Christian.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’” Matthew 28:18-19
