Unisocial at the Universal Church in Laoag

The Universal Church in Laoag City had the opportunity to conduct a Unisocial event at Barangay 24, Laoag City, last Saturday, May 16. Many families and individuals gathered to receive the Word of God, prayers and food packs to help meet both their physical and spiritual needs.

People in the community come from different walks of life and face various challenges in their daily lives. Through this activity, the volunteers aimed to extend help, share hope, and encourage them to believe that they can overcome the problems they are facing. The volunteers also spent time listening to their stories, offering comfort, support, and a willing ear to those in need.

One participant shared how the prayer helped her: “My foot was hurting, but after I received the prayer, I feel lighter, and I no longer feel the pain in my foot.”

The Unisocial activity also served as a reminder that no one is alone in their struggles, and that God is always there to guide and strengthen them. The volunteers worked together wholeheartedly to bring smiles, comfort, and spiritual support to the community.
