The Sunday of Resurrection at the Simbahang Universal in La Union

It was a blessed Sunday of Resurrection at the Simbahang Universal in La Union.

People learned that the true meaning of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ was a powerful testimony of how great our God is. He did not allow Jesus to remain dead, but raised Him so that He may live in us through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and reign in our lives as part of the Kingdom of God.

Many came and cried out to God, bringing their burdens before Him, believing that the same power that resurrected Jesus would also bring healing and victory into their lives. In the end, many souls were blessed and set free from the weight of their burdens.

“It was not just a day to remember the Lord Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection from the dead, but also an opportunity to allow God to truly live within us—to be transformed and to receive salvation, which is the essence of His sacrifice on the cross. Through the service, God reminded me that a true Christian lives by sacrifice and obedience. I need to be vigilant and continue strengthening my faith, for faith based on religiosity does not please God. Rather, what pleases Him is my decision to obey His Word and to sacrifice my own will in order to fulfill His will—through both the good times and the difficulties—for the rest of my life.”– Glizel dela Cruz
