Life in Color Event in Novaliches

Last Sunday, October 4th marked the 3rd Sunday of the “Life in Color” event at the

Universal Church in Novaliches.

The event began with a special message for all those who are facing a difficult

moment in their lives. Many people have been living in sorrow, but the Word of God says; “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

People learned that regardless of what may have been causing this pain that they carry, God is ready to remove it and give them true joy and strength to overcome.

Through the life transformation testimony shared before the prayer, people could see how God is able to heal someone from their past hurt, and in the same way He is ready to also do in their lives.

They were invited to come close to the altar and received a prayer of freedom from all the suffering, pain, deep sadness and burdens they had been carrying.

After the prayer, they learned that to remain strong, they must understand about the power of their words. Our tongue has power to bring strength and life to our lives when we use it with wisdom, but it can also weaken and destroy our lives when we allow negative words to come out.

During the event, there was also a moment dedicated to blessing and praying for the unity and protection of our families.

However, the main message was eye-opening to all.

The majority of people say that they believe in God, but few are those who

understand about the existence of evil. People often avoid talking about the devil,

either out of fear, or because they simply choose not to believe. And that’s exactly his number one strategy, making people believe that he is not real. After all, how can you fight an enemy if you are not aware of his existence?

However, the Word of God says that, “…your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:8)

Throughout the years, the works of evil have been hidden behind traditions, customs, religions and various different practices, in order for people to accept them as normal, and that’s another one of the devil’s strategy. What was once considered wrong, is now accepted by society as normal.

That’s why as Christians we must be vigilant and take on the whole Armor of God, so that we may be aware of these attacks and be able to overcome them.

“Through the service, God spoke to me about the importance of my soul and my

salvation. I understood that I can only show my faith when I obey the Word of God and put it into practice in my life. I also learned that the devil also exists on earth and he is working hard to kill, steal and destroy me. If I do not guard my faith I can be defeated, so I need to be vigilant and must stay firm and strong in my faith.” - Estelita Faderon, one of the members, shared her experience.
