The Power of Repentance

When we talk about sin, people think that only those who kill, steal or commit adultery are sinners. But the Word of God says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Therefore, all of us are in need of repentance. We must recognize our mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and seek transformation through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit reveals to us the things we have done that offended God or went against His law.

“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to

be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10

Repentance is not just a feeling; it is a decision. It may bring sadness, but this sadness does not lead to destruction. Instead, it leads to change and total transformation. This is godly sorrow — the kind that produces the fruits of repentance and leads to the salvation of the soul.
