Master, I brought You my son

A parent’s role is to protect, care for, and guide their children. It is their responsibility to teach them the right values, with the hope that their children will continue to follow these teachings as they grow older.
A parent’s love does not change with age. Whether their children are still young or already grown-up, parents will always care about their well-being and do their best to protect them. They want their children to have a good future, be happy and safe, and live a good life.
However, despite their efforts, parents may sometimes feel helpless. They may try their best to give advice, offer support, and find ways to solve their children’s problems, but nothing seems to change. Some children may be struggling with addictions, unhealthy relationships, emotional problems, or making choices that could hurt their future. No matter how much their parents want to help, some situations are beyond their control.
But when we feel that we have nowhere else to turn, we can turn to God and bring Him the challenges we are facing in our families.
“Then one of the crowd answered and said, ‘Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit.’” — Mark 9:17
These were the words of a concerned father who had watched his son suffer greatly. After trying to find help, he turned to the Lord Jesus, and the boy was later healed through faith.
Just as this father brought his son to the Lord Jesus when he could no longer find a solution, you can do the same and take a step of faith.
This Sunday, October 25 at 10am, will be the Sunday of “Master, I brought You my son”. This is an opportunity for parents to bring their children together with them and receive the anointing for protection for parents and for children.
Whether your children are still young, teenagers, young adults, or already grown, join us in prayer as we place their lives and futures in God’s hands.
When a situation seems impossible, we should not give up. Instead, we can turn to God in faith and ask for His help.
