The Night of the Trumpet: The Biblical Warning about the End Times

“Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the Lord is coming…” Joel 2:1

Mount Zion represents not only a geographical location, but the center of God's presence in biblical history. It symbolizes the center of God's work among His people—what may be described as His divine "headquarters." Therefore, when the trumpet is sounded in Zion, it is a warning coming directly from Divine authority.

Earthquakes, tragedies and other events should not be seen as news only, but as warnings that remind us of the fragility of life and the need for spiritual preparation.

In the Book of Joel, the trumpet symbolizes God’s call to awaken humanity while there is still time.

However, despite people having free access to the Word of God-where all the warnings of the end times have already been written, the majority are occupied with their daily lives and few are those who are truly listening.

Therefore, when tragedies and sudden events happen, which cause pain and suffering, that’s the time for people to stop, think and “wake up”.

And yet, surprisingly, despite all the warnings and tragedies, the vast majority of people quickly forget what happened and remain in the exact same way.

But what about you? Are you listening?

Jesus is blowing the trumpets and if you are not sure of your salvation, this is your greatest problem and you need to do something about it.
