The Cry Out to Heal Our Land

When someone is sick, we can see the signs: they are weak, their skin is pale, their eyes are heavy-lidded, breathing is difficult, and their temperature is high.
The same signs we see in a person can also be seen in our nation. War, the rising cost of living, stories of violence and crime, pain, and fear are everywhere.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” John 10:10
The thief is satan. He creates division and sets one against another. He does this in families, communities, cities, provinces, and countries.
A nation that is divided will not prosper. A family that is divided will never be successful, and a couple that is divided will end up in divorce.
The question is: will evil always prevail?
The Word of God reminds us that God has given us spiritual authority to stand against evil and to bring healing and restoration. (Luke 9:1)
The path to a nation’s restoration does not depend on political disputes, social conflicts, nor on placing trust in people or government.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
People need humility, prayer, repentance, and a sincere seeking of God’s face for healing and transformation to begin—first in the life of a person, then in the family, and ultimately in the country.
We invite you to join us on this purpose, with our knees on the ground, to cry out for the healing of our land.
This Sunday, February 1 at 10am, the Simbahang Universal will unite in faith and prayer for this cry out.
Write your street name, barangay, town, city, and country on a piece of paper and bring it with you on Sunday.
Remember, it is our faith and our prayers to God that will lead us on the path to true healing and restoration.
“As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30
Those who place their trust in the Lord will be kept under His protection. Even in a world filled with tragedy and uncertainty, He promises that those who trust in Him will not be swept away by the “floods” of problems affecting society.
