Sunday of the Sacred Assembly

The people of Israel in the time of the prophet Joel were living through a period of devastation and suffering because they had turned their backs on God.
Yet even in the midst of their suffering, God did not forsake them. Instead, He gave them this instruction: "Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly." (Joel 2:15)
Today, that call continues to echo in the Universal Church. This was more than an invitation to gather together—it was God’s call for His people to seek Him wholeheartedly, turning away from everything that had separated them from Him. It was an opportunity for spiritual restoration and a new beginning.
The Sacred Assembly represents a turning point for those who seek a complete transformation in their lives. It is God's call for His people to enter a new stage in their journey of faith.
At the same time, the Universal Church lives out the faith of the Campaign of Israel. This special purpose represents an opportunity for surrender and spiritual sacrifice, as the Altar symbolizes the place of decision and encounter between God and His people.
If you are facing difficulties, seeking direction, or longing for a change in your life, this is a special opportunity to draw closer to God.
Join us this Sunday, July 12 at 10am, for the Sunday of the Sacred Assembly with the Lord’s Supper— an opportunity to seek spiritual renewal and make a covenant with God.
Here at the Holy Ground, General Roxas Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao.
Or at a Universal Church near you throughout the Philippines.
