Sunday of the Blessing of the Children

The end of the year is drawing near and people are preparing the upcoming events to welcome the New Year.

Yet this year, in these final days of the month, many families have been shaken by unexpected tragedies. Accidents have caused deep pain, loss, and sorrow, leaving families grieving the loss of loved ones. These moments remind us of how important it is to have God’s guidance, protection, and presence in our homes.

That’s why this Sunday, December 21 at 10am, we are going to have a special prayer to bless all the children and to ask God for direction, provision and protection, that we may welcome the new year with the whole family protected.

We encourage all parents to bring their children with them, regardless of their age and stand in prayer on their behalf.

Just like how Isaac blessed Jacob, we believe this prayer and blessing will be passed on to your children as well, protecting them as they step into the New Year.

“May God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may be an assembly of peoples; and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and your descendants with you, that you may inherit the land in which you are a stranger, which God gave to Abraham.” Genesis 28:3-4
