Sunday of the Answer in Baclaran

There are times when we must approach the Altar like a lost child seeking their father, as if to show God how dependent we are on Him and how lost we would be without Him.

The “Sunday of the Answer with the Cry Out on Mount Zion” was remarkable for the people in Baclaran. On this day, they received the answer, protection, help and strength that come from God.

The Fast of Daniel was also concluded, which is intended for people who seek not only solutions to their problems but also the One who has the power to change the lives of those who fully submit to Him.

People also learned about the power of their word, how those who choose to follow and obey the Lord Jesus honor their word and use it to edify rather than complain.

One of the attendees shared her insights from the service:

“I now understand that many people are cursed as a result of broken promises or, more accurately, sins committed against God. We may not keep our promises for a variety of reasons, unaware that we are inviting curses into our lives. As a result, we face the consequences of our actions. The message taught me that no matter what it takes, we must keep our vows and promises, especially those made to God. If we remain faithful to Him, we will undoubtedly receive His blessings.

I have experienced this myself. I made numerous vows to God, but I did not keep them. I often suffered the consequences of my broken promises, making it difficult to return to Him. I've also noticed that when I break my promises to Him, I feel far from His presence. That is why, going forward, I have decided not to do that again. I will be more careful with my words and keep the promises I make, especially to God.” — Maria Marfil
