Sunday of Return

Perhaps, in the past, Sunday was the most special time of your week. It was the day to seek the Lord, hear His guidance and to have communion with Him. However, disappointments, negative thoughts, or doubts may have arisen along the way, leading you to drift away and leave the Altar.

Life away from God's presence may seem like an experience of freedom. However, this choice can also bring emptiness, suffering, and a lack of direction.

Evil can make a person think or believe that there is no turning back, that there is no solution for their life, or that God will not forgive their mistakes.

But the truth is, God does not abandon those who desire to draw closer to Him. Therefore, contrary to the accusations that may arise in their minds, a person can seek forgiveness, rebuild their relationship with God, and find a new beginning.

This Sunday, August 30 at 10am, will be the Sunday of Return with the Lord’s Supper—a symbol of reconciliation with God.

If you have strayed from faith and want to start again with God, join us this Sunday. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God opens His arms to receive you.

Today, God may be part of your past, but He wants to be part of your present.

God is waiting for you to come back. And if, for any reason, your heart condemns you, God has already forgiven you. Return to Him, because He has never forgotten you.

Join us at the Holy Ground, General Roxas Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao.

Or at a Universal Church near you throughout the Philippines.
