Sunday of Psalm 23 in Ilagan

The Sunday of Psalm 23 was indeed a blessing to the people of Ilagan. During the service, they received a special prayer and learned that to experience the fulfillment of the promise in Psalm 23, they must first declare God as their only Lord and Shepherd.

People also brought bread with them, which was blessed during the service. They claimed it as the Bread of Abundance, in the faith that as they eat of this blessed bread with their family, it represents God’s provision and abundance in their home.

Through the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, who initially used his boldness to do what was wrong but later used that same boldness to correct his actions, God teaches us to do the same when it comes to our salvation.

Hebrews 10:19 says, “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…” This kind of boldness is necessary for us to finally abandon what is wrong, begin obeying God’s Word, and pursue our salvation.

“I learned to be courageous, especially when it comes to my faith in God. The message was a great help to me because it strengthened my trust in God and my decision to be courageous in doing His will.

I also shared this with my family members, telling them that when they face problems, whether at work or in any plans they have for their lives, they should not become negative or be discouraged by those who may want to bring them down. I became more determined to pray for and fight for the salvation of my family.

My faith in God was also strengthened by His promise in Psalm 23, for He is my Shepherd. In everything and wherever I may be, He will always guide me and give me strength, especially in my relationship with Him.” — Alejandrea Luis Uy, one of the attendees shared her experienced from the service.
