“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1
Psalm 23 carries a profound promise, simply knowing or repeating it’s words is not enough to experience it’s fulfillment in our life.
Many people work hard, yet see little growth, satisfaction, or progress. Despite everything they do, they may experience little or no results.
The truth is, when we try to do things without seeking God’s guidance, we can struggle to move forward. But when we turn to God and ask for His help, things can change. To experience the fulfillment of the promises in Psalm 23, we must first do what the first verse says—to make the Lord our Shepherd.
When we surrender our lives to God and follow His guidance, we allow Him to provide for us, protect what we have, and lead us in making wise decisions. If you are trusting God to meet your needs and help you overcome life’s struggles, this is the time to take a step of faith and believe that He will provide.
This coming Sunday, August 23 at 10am, will be the Sunday of Psalm 23. It is an opportunity not only to receive a prayer for prosperity, but also to learn what you can do to experience true prosperity according to God’s directions.
Write down on a piece of paper the things that are lacking in your life and bring it with you on Sunday.
Also, we invite you to bring a loaf of bread to be blessed. Believing that as you eat this blessed bread with your family, it will serve as a symbol of your faith in God’s provision—that you and your family may have enough and be satisfied.
