Sunday of Psalm 122 Highlights

It is always a blessing and a privilege to be in the House of God. As we continue this journey of faith, believing for God’s blessings throughout the last 122 days of the year, today’s gathering reminded us that true faith begins with total dependence on God.

We live in a world where people are often encouraged to depend on what is immediately available—financial resources, other people, connections, abilities, and earthly solutions. While these things may help us along the way, they can never take the place of God. Above everything else, our greatest dependence must always be on Him.

One of the ways we show this dependence is by valuing our communion with God. Being in His House is not simply about being physically present; it is an expression of our desire to draw closer to Him, hear His voice, and place our lives under His guidance. But our dependence on God must also be reflected in the way we live every day—in our decisions, priorities, relationships, and even in our daily routines.

Those who have surrendered their lives to God, those who have genuinely sought His presence and longed for the peace that only He can give, have experienced the blessing of becoming a dwelling place for God through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
