The first Sunday service of February began in an extraordinary way, with churches across Asia joining together in faith via a livestream to cry out for the healing of the land and our nation.
Upon reflecting on what the Lord Jesus said in John 6:43, “Do not murmur among yourselves,” we noticed that people frequently murmur or complain a lot without realizing it. In other words, if they don't make a change, their lives might end up like those of the Israelites who, after escaping slavery in Egypt, became stranded in the desert and never reached the Promised Land, due to murmuring rather than focusing and being grateful for all the amazing things God has done for them.
By being grateful and following God's advice in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which is to humble ourselves, pray fervently, seek Him, and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear and eventually bring healing, first to our own lives, then to our country.
“The service yesterday touched me deeply. I can truly relate to the topic of murmuring because there are times when I feel disappointed with someone or something. I may not speak directly, but when I am with people I am comfortable with, I tend to express what I feel—and this often causes more complications rather than peace. Yesterday, I prayed earnestly for God to give me more strength to discipline myself and to be sensitive in every situation. I will keep this lesson in my mind and heart and practice it in my daily life, so that I may be protected from future harm and destruction—not only to avoid hurting others, but especially not to hurt our Lord Jesus. I also desire to remain in God’s presence and to keep my salvation.”
