On Sunday, March 29, the service held at the Simbahang Universal in Laoag was an opportunity for people to be reconciled with God. They learned that placing our faith in the Word of God allows us to receive whatever we ask from Him, according to His will. As it is written, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." (John 15:7).

Just as Mrs. Bernabeth Manzanillo experienced, through her faith, her husband was healed and no longer needed to undergo surgery.
As it was the first day of Holy Week, people also learned that Triumphal Entry of Jesus is an example of what God desires in our lives today. He wants to enter into us and bring true transformation to our lives. But for this to happen, we must first be reconciled with Him through the Cross—sacrificing our own will and changing our thoughts and way of living.
As it is written, "And by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled." Colossians 1:20-21
“What I learned and realized, that in my former way of life, I was an enemy of God because I did not follow Him. I was a stranger to Him until I came to God, humbled myself, and asked for His forgiveness. I began to obey every word He said, allowed myself to be changed by Him, and I received the Holy Spirit. Now, I have reconciled with God, I am His child, and I will remain in His presence until the end.” - Yolanda Salandino
