"I struggled with sickness, debt, and depression."

Ever since I was a child, I grew up in a family that seemed normal because it was complete. But I noticed that there was a difference—we were my father's illegitimate children. Because of that, I isolated myself. I grew up with very few friends because I was ashamed of our family's situation.
I entered into a lot of relationships. Though always rejected, I learned to accept it because I had no value of myself.
I had a dream of going abroad, and it was at a training center where I met my husband. I got pregnant at the wrong time. When our eldest son was one-year old, I went abroad with the help of my mother-in-law.
But my life became worse as I struggled with sickness, debt, and depression. I searched for true happiness through going to different places and material things, but I couldn't find it. I even asked myself if God really existed, and if He did, why my life was like that.
One day, I was invited to the Universal Church. At first, I only attended to receive physical blessings, hoping to be healed from sickness and to prosper financially. But nothing happened in my life because nothing really changed within me.
Eventually, I returned home for good while my husband remained abroad to work. Our marriage was chaotic, and we had no plans for the future. My depression became even worse.
But I thank God that the Universal Church was established in our province. I continued using my faith, and that was when I made a vow to God that this time, I would obey Him.
I let go of my anger, bad temper, resentment toward other people, feelings of rejection, low self-worth, my old self, and all the issues I had inside me. I surrendered everything on the Altar so that I could receive the Spirit of God.
Gradually, I saw a change because there was a transformation within me. I no longer dwell on what other people say about me or allow their words to define my worth. Instead, I choose to see myself the way God sees me.
Our marriage became better, and God restored our family. I am no longer depressed, and now I have a desire to help those who are going through the same situation I once faced.
Because of the sacrifice I made, God transformed our lives, our finances, our health, and our family.
