Intellimen: The Art of Not Doing Foolish Things

There is a humorous trend on the Internet called “Why Men Live Shorter Lives.” It usually features videos and photos of men in extremely risky situations, dangerous improvisations, or acting without thinking about the possible consequences. To those watching, the scenes may seem funny. But for the person actually experiencing the situation, the outcome can be very different.
The sad thing is that this trend is based on reality. In fact, men tend to expose themselves more to risky situations and, in different circumstances, may face more serious consequences than women. They may die younger, end up in prison, lose in a short time what took years to build, or damage their relationships, opportunities, and future. In other words, a decision made in just a few seconds can take years to fix—that’s if it can be fixed at all.
Thankfully, not all men are like this. Some choose prudence, intelligence, and learning. They carefully consider the consequences, learn from their own mistakes, and also from the experiences of others. In doing so, they avoid unnecessary problems and decisions that could cause years of damage. As a result, they increase their chances of building a much happier, more prosperous, and healthier life.
This Sunday, September 6 at 4pm, at the Men’s Gathering, we will explore The Art of Not Doing Foolish Things—how to avoid 30-second decisions that could cost 30 years.
As an intelligent man, you wouldn’t want to miss it! Come and learn how to avoid foolish decisions that could destroy what’s good in your life.
