Violence against women remains a significant issue in the Philippines, with an average of 36 reported cases per day. (Source: Philippine Commission on Women)
Many suffer physical, psychological, sexual, financial, and moral abuse. Some wounds are visible, but many are hidden deep within.
There are women who endure psychological abuse in their own homes. Daughters who face emotional oppression. Mothers wounded by harsh words. Wives who are financially controlled. Victims who, even when surrounded by people, feel completely alone.
These are silent pains — but they are real.
With this reality, one question arises: Where can these women find support?
This Sunday, March 8, at 10am (also at 7am, 4pm and 6pm), in celebration of the International Women’s Day, there will be a special Inner Healing for all Women for those carrying trauma and deep wounds.
The church is a place that serves as a welcoming refuge where women feel safe, heard, and loved.
Come and receive healing for your soul, strength to start again, and the opportunity to rise — no longer bowed down by pain, but strengthened by faith.
Here at Simbahang Universal, General Roxas Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao or at a Simbahang Universal near you.
