Life Transformation

Before coming to the Simbahang Universal, I lived in a chaotic life. I grew up in a home full of fights, almost every day and every night. Because of this, I carried deep fear, trauma, and insecurity—especially about relationships and marriage. I tried to fill the emptiness by going out with friends, drinking, and entering relationships, but every relationship failed. When someone I thought was “the one” cheated on me, I reached the point of wanting to end my life.

A friend invited me to the Simbahang Universal, and every message felt like it was meant for me. Slowly, I understood why my life was the way it was. I learned about salvation and realized how far I had been from God. I wanted to receive the Holy Spirit, so I asked what I needed to do and committed myself to God.

When the Campaign came, I decided to be serious. God asked me for something painful—my savings from my small business. At first, I didn’t want to surrender it, but I realized I was depending on the money instead of God. I gave it, and God answered exactly what I wrote in my prayer request. The greatest result was receiving the Holy Spirit.

Later on, I faced another painful test involving my family. My sister began to face a health problem, which required me to look after her 24/7. It hurt me to see her in this way and to be in that situation, but I was no longer alone. The Holy Spirit was with me and I learned to develop my trust in God and teach my family to depend on Him—not on me. God strengthened me, and I saw the fruits of my faith: my sister completely recovered, and God answered my prayers.

Today, I am grateful because God did not give up on me. My family and I are living in peace, and I can see the results of the sacrifices I made for them.
