How does someone get through all the problems and challenges they face without losing their faith?

Many people simply give up because, although they are praying, they think they are not being heard by God. But God is at work. God is never early nor late—He is always on time.
So, how does someone get through all the problems and challenges they face without losing their faith? We are only able to persevere when we have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us strength and everything we need to endure and succeed.
Most people think the Holy Spirit is only for worship, singing songs of praise, or feeling great emotion. But the Holy Spirit is God, and He wants to dwell in us to enable us to overcome the problems we face.
The Holy Spirit is the power of God; He is not something we feel.
We cannot trust our feelings, because they come and go.
We do not live by feelings; we live by faith. And we do not “feel” faith. Either we have it, or we don’t.
The Spirit of God is the One who gives us this faith, enabling us to keep going no matter what. We believe in the promise; we believe in what is written—whether we feel it or not. We believe what the Bible says.
Moreover, the Holy Spirit makes us children of God. One thing is to believe in God, another is to be a churchgoer, and another is to truly belong to God.
“Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” Romans 8:9
Seeking first the Holy Spirit before helping others is not selfishness; it is a matter of survival.
Imagine if you are in the middle of the ocean and someone is drowning, you may want to help, but if you have no boat and no life vest, both of you will drown. But if you have a lifeboat and a life vest, you can rescue the person because you are safe first.
The Holy Spirit is your lifesaving vest. You need the Holy Spirit in you so you can help others.
Your heart must be on the altar; it must be with Jesus. He must be first, above all else. And if you do that, He will add the Holy Spirit to your life—and then everything else that you and your family need will also be added.
