Bible Study: The Armor of the Kingdom of God

Don’t we all want security?

We take measures to protect our possessions, finances, homes, and future. But while we are so concerned about securing the things of this world, we also need to take the necessary steps to secure and protect the most important thing of all—the salvation of our souls.

Every day, we face different battles in our lives—whether it is a battle in our thoughts, a struggle against temptation, or a battle against the schemes of evil. And these unseen battles seek to take away our peace and draw us away from God.

But no matter how difficult the battles we face may be, we must overcome. We must remain steadfast in our faith so that we may continue as part of the Kingdom of God and inherit the greatest treasure He has promised us: the Holy Spirit.

God provides the full armor to those who desire to overcome spiritual battles. However, this protection is not automatic; it requires obedience and a heart that is willing to follow Him. We must put on this armor daily so that we can remain firm and stand strong during times of tribulation.

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” — Ephesians 6:13
