The Holy Spirit is a divine gift from God that helps us live in this world and make the right choices. To be part of the Kingdom of God, it is necessary to be born of the Holy Spirit.
"Jesus answered, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’" John 3:5-7
In previous Wednesdays, we have been learning a lot about the Kingdom of God—it's importance, how it differs from the kingdom of the world, and how to be part of it.
Just like in marriage, it is impossible to receive the Spirit of Truth while keeping falsehood as a "lover." The Kingdom of God begins within, and those who want to be a part of it must allow the King to dwell inside of them. God's work consists of believing in the One He sent, which means living according to His Word.
With the goal of seeking this baptism and revival, the Universal Church have already began the Fast of Daniel—21 days of complete consecration, that will be concluded on May 24, on the Day of Pentecost.
During this period, participants will also anoint their heads every morning with the blessed oil, asking for God’s will to be done and focusing on seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
This Wednesday, May 6 at 7pm, we will continue the Bible Study of the Kingdom of God and the Holy Spirit with the Lord's Supper. It is a significant meeting especially for those who seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit and are in preparation for the Day of Pentecost.
Come to learn how to live in this Kingdom, filled with peace, joy, certainty, direction, wisdom and all that you need.
You may also join the service at 7am, 10am, 12nn, 3pm and 5pm.
Here at the Holy Ground, General Roxas Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao.
