Be bold and sincere!

Prodigal means wasteful, and a person who lives a prodigal life is someone who lives wastefully. Many people have been living this kind of life, just like the example of the prodigal son in the Bible (Luke 15:11–21).

The prodigal son was bold enough to ask his father for his inheritance even though his father was still alive, but he was also foolish. He was bold enough to leave for a far country and live on his own because he wanted to be free and do whatever he wanted with his life.

Although he was foolish, he was also sincere in what he wanted—to live life on his own. However, his boldness and sincerity were used in the wrong way. In the end, after wasting his inheritance, he lost everything and ended up tending to the swine.

But he came to his senses and made the decision to go back to his father. This time, he used his boldness and sincerity to do something good—he admitted that he was wrong.

Admitting that you are wrong is not easy. Many people allow pride to get in the way and refuse to admit, even to themselves, that they have made a mistake. But God is looking for sincerity.

Maybe you have been bold enough to do foolish things in the past, and you have reaped the consequences of those decisions. Perhaps you have also been sincere enough to admit what was in your heart. Why not use that same boldness and sincerity to do what is right? Recognize that you need God in your life and make the decision to return to Him.

Moreover, stop blaming other people. Many people try to justify their foolishness when, in fact, they are responsible for their own actions. Using boldness and sincerity in a positive way can help you find forgiveness, peace, and salvation.

God wants to spare you from suffering, and the wisest choice you can make is to stop doing what is wrong and be bold enough to say no to the wrong path.

God gives us the choice to do what is right or what is wrong. He does not force us to choose, but we must deal with the consequences of our choices afterward.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the

blood of Jesus.” — Hebrews 10:19

Be bold enough to return to God and sincere enough to admit that you have sinned against Him. Through the Blood of Jesus, go to the Altar and surrender your life to Him. You will receive forgiveness, and you will be accepted by Him.
