Vanities are the desires of the heart. It is not possible to conciliate our will with God’s will. We will either stop serving Him or we will stop serving ourselves.
Vanities also promote compliments, admiration, praise, respect. Vanities are the fruits of the glory of this world.
The Lord Jesus said that we must choose which world we want to live in ... this one full of vanities or His where there is no place for vanity.
