“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
We are in a constant invisible but real fight.
We cannot even imagine how the dark spirits plot against us, day and night. Their intention is to end our lives, bringing shame to the Name of Jesus and still take our souls to hell.
Then, unexpected situations arise:
Financial problems, marriage, family, health...
Or often the opposite happens, things that seem to be blessings, filling the heart with pleasure and joy that make us relax in faith and in our communion with God. All of this ends up being an evil strategy, to fight against us.
So how can we fight it?
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:13-18
Remember that the devil works subtly and waits for us to be distracted and weak, then attacks us.
The Lord Jesus warned us:
"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." Luke 21:36
