Novena of Our Father

On Sunday, November 1, we began the “Novena of Our Father,” which will continue until December 27. During the last nine Sundays of the year, the purpose is to help people better understand what it means to become heirs to the promises of God written in His Word.
Children and heirs of God
To be an heir means to have the right to an inheritance. But before someone can become an heir, that person must first be a child.
Through the sacrifice of Jesus, anyone who surrenders their life to God and trusts in His Word can become His child and an heir to His promises. As written in John 1:11-12: “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
The Bible is a testament filled with God's promises. Those who surrender their lives to Him and put their trust in His Word can receive this inheritance and see His promises fulfilled in their lives.
As part of this purpose, people will also receive biblical guidance on how to recognize their spiritual struggles and seek help from their Heavenly Father.
This Sunday, November 8 at 10am, bring a loaf of bread to be consecrated. The bread represents “our daily bread” that God provides for His children. It also serves as a reminder that, as His children, we have the right to receive what comes from our Father's table.
By bringing a loaf of bread to be consecrated, we express our dependence on God and our trust in His care and provision.
Join us in this purpose and take this opportunity to reflect on your relationship with God and strengthen your faith.
