Beginning Monday, November 17 at 10pm, we will start the Journey of Faith for the transformation of many lives.
The Bishops and Pastors throughout the Philippines will be united in faith and prayer on behalf of the people who will participate in this powerful purpose of faith: The Campaign of Israel in the Garden of Gethsemane.
But why Gethsemane?
The name “Gethsemane” has a powerful and literal meaning: “oil press.” It was a garden where olives were harvested and then pressed to extract pure oil.
Thus, Jesus Christ did not choose this place by chance to spend His final moments before His sacrifice on the Cross. Just like olives—which need to be crushed to release their most valuable essence—He was about to be pressed to the extreme.
Gethsemane represents the place where pressure reveals what is inside us: the best oil or something unpleasant.
To better understand the meaning of this place, watch the video below:
Whether you feel spiritually weak, overwhelmed, or simply tired of pretending you’re okay, this Campaign is a chance to offer God what He desires most—your soul—and let Him do the work that only He can do.
