On Good Friday, April 3, the great event “My Family at the Foot of the Cross” also took place in all Simbahang Universal branches across the Philippines. Giving people the opportunity to surrender their family at the Foot of the Cross. Check out some highlights of our branches in Visayas & Mindanao. Iloilo

The event “My Family at the Foot of the Cross” also happened in Iloilo City. The focus of this gathering was the family, highlighting its importance in God’s plan. Many people from different parts of Panay Island came to participate, making this moment of unity truly special.

During the event, those who attended received guidance from God on how to surrender their own will and take up their cross daily in order to please Him. It was a meaningful and powerful moment of reflection, faith, and commitment to living according to God’s purpose.
Cebu

It was a wonderful event in Cebu. We received people with addictions, family problems, homeless people, and those who were spiritually ill. They came to seek God and pray for the transformation of their families.

They were very attentive during the event; we could notice that they were hungry to know more about the Lord Jesus, and those who arrived suffering and crying left the event relieved of their burdens.
We believe that they will return for the glory of God.
Bacolod

At the event in Bacolod, we learned what family truly means. We had the opportunity to bring our family into God’s presence in prayer, at the Foot of the Cross.

Everyone who attended learned something essential: every day we must say “no” to our own desires and “yes” to God’s will.
This is the true meaning of denying ourselves and carrying our cross.
It was truly a blessing!
Davao

Families from various areas and regions of Davao united with one purpose: to surrender their families at the Foot of the Cross.

New individuals were embraced, including family members of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) employed in Hong Kong, who attended despite facing challenges such as limited transportation, the scorching sun, and extended travel times.
The people manifested their faith, believing that the Lord Jesus is alive.
This day was truly extraordinary, not just on the calendar but also in the lives of the families who attended, as they experienced healing, restoration, miracles, and salvation.
Koronadal

Good Friday was a powerful and blessed day in Koronadal, as many people came together to surrender their families at the Foot of the Cross. People understood that if they truly desire to follow Jesus, they must deny themselves in order to fulfill the will of God.
