Do you know who he is?
“Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of TRUTH, hating covetousness…” Exodus 18.21
All these virtues are very important, and are part of the character of the man who proposes to serve God, however, the expression “men of truth” leads us to reflect on the real meaning.
A man of truth is the one who honors his word and who is a man of integrity and upright in all his conduct; he does not avoid his responsibilities, on the contrary, he assumes them with firmness and dedication.
The man of truth honors his marriage, he is sincere and transparent, so he is trustworthy. He is flawed like any other man, but he does not shy away from his mistakes, nor does he blame them on anyone; and above all, the man of truth is humble to listen and learn.
